AMHE-Leogane Health Clinic

In keeping with AMHE mission of raising health awareness and providing healthcare to the underserved, AMHE is endeavoring to build a healthcare clinic in Darbone near Léogane, Haiti. AMHE was the recipient of a parcel of land inLéogane to build the health clinic. Services will focus on key health areas such as:

Health care is critical to the well-being of all populations. As a result of the 2010 earthquake, the City of Léogane suffered devastating blows. With the construction of the healthcare facility, AMHE hopes to bring critical health services to the area.

AMHE proposes to build an1800 square foot paraseismic facility offering 4 exam rooms, a laboratory. Considering the challenges of the environment for energy sources, AMHE will build a self-sufficient facility able to generate and renew its own power. Solar windmill and Solar Panels will be used to supply renewable energy to the clinic. A well will supply water to the clinic.

PHASE II – Furnishings and Staffing.

In phase two, AMHE will outfit the facility with the up modern furnishings and medical equipment, computers, medical and office equipment to become operational.
