Our Mission Statement

AMHE Foundation is a charitable (501c3) corporation under the Internal Revenue code, United States Department of Treasury. It is the philanthropic arm of the Association of the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad, which, itself, is a non-profit professional organization. As such, the Foundation’s main goal is to raise funds to support and promote the philanthropic endeavors of the Association of Haitian Physicians, striving to enhance the health and welfare of Haitians in the North American Diaspora and in Haiti.

The Foundation currently supports a number of projects put forward by the Association within the framework of its mission, goals and objectives:

Promoting community life and general welfare — AMHE Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, or loans to needy students of Haitian ancestry, both at home and abroad

To help Haitian scholars build a foundation for the advancement of medical education, and the improvement of public health in Haiti.
